Job summary

Immunai is seeking a Senior I / Senior II Computational Biologist to lead external collaborations with pharma, biotech and academic partners, applying single-cell multi-omics to immuno-oncology and autoimmune disease research.

You will collaborate with biologists, ML specialists and business development to design, execute and disseminate analyses, leveraging LLM-based tools to push Immunai's capabilities. This hybrid NYC role offers a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-omic data analysis including bulk and single-cell transcriptomics.
• Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and coding in R or Python (pandas).
• Background in ML methodologies and applying ML to biology.
• Ability to distill multi-faceted analyses into concrete conclusions with visuals.
• Experience leading large-scale initiatives and project leadership.
• Research in immuno-oncology or autoimmune diseases; CAR-T knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication with external collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Lead computational biology efforts for industry and academic partnership projects in immuno-oncology and autoimmune diseases.
• Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to define research objectives and analysis plans.
• Execute rigorous and reproducible data analyses using state-of-the-art methods.
• Maintain collaboration with multidisciplinary internal teams through project lifecycles.
• Communicate findings to external stakeholders via presentations and reports.
• Devise and implement new approaches, including the use of LLM-based tools.
