Andersen Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Technician to efficiently assist in operation and maintenance of polymer composite manufacturing processes and provide inventory support to control production and downtime costs.

The role involves rotating 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) with a 2-2-3-2-2-3 pattern and requires safety-conscious work in a manufacturing environment. Training and growth opportunities are highlighted in a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 10 years’ plastics fabrication experience.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read reports.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving and leadership.
• Must safely operate a PIT.

Responsibilities

• Understand equipment functioning through preventive maintenance, adjustments, repairs and cleaning.
• Support modifications to improve operation.
• Monitor pollution control equipment to ensure proper performance.
• Monitor and maintain components in the compounding process (e.g., loss in weight feeders, zone temperature controllers).
• Assist in weekly worksite inspections for safety and environmental compliance.
• Perform autonomous maintenance activities as prescribed in Data Stream.
• Survey utilities systems during operation and repairs; make improvements to lower costs.
• Readily accepts training and collaborates with team mates and other crafts.
