Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 months of related experience preferred with mathematical skills.
• Strong communication (oral/written), computer, math, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate basic office machines and a forklift.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and adherence to SOPs.
• Physical fitness to handle 55 lb. bags and navigate stairs during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean, set up, and operate production machinery including extruders, mixers, tumblers, feeders, cutters, classifiers, and pelletizers.
• Weigh and document pigment, additive, and raw materials per instructions; ensure accurate staging and return of materials.
• Transport raw materials and finished products within the warehouse and production areas.
• Provide samples to the Quality Control Lab and maintain communication with supervisors and technicians.
• Pack and label raw materials and finished products; ensure proper packaging and palletizing.
• Maintain accurate reports, records, and logs in paper and electronic formats.
• Monitor inventory levels for pigment and additive materials; communicate with Materials Controller.
• Assist in training new employees and support team collaboration.
• Measure departmental performance and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Uphold Toray’s mission and values in daily operations and decision-making.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Possess authority to stop production to correct quality issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
