Job summary

Mach Industries in the United States seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Composites, to design composite structures for high-rate production, review designs from concept to production release, and drive R&D on new materials, hardware and processes.

You will develop DFMA guidelines, set rate-capable standards, prepare outsourcing plans, and mentor teams while collaborating with suppliers to deliver reliable, cost-effective, high‑quality parts.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Materials or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Launched a high-rate composite part or production line, at least tooling and ramp.
• Experience with draping and mold-filling simulation and composite design tools.

Responsibilities

• Write, publish and maintain DFMA guide for high-rate production with data-backed rules.
• Write design rules for LCM processes (RTM, HP-RTM, C-RTM, wet compression molding).
• Set rate-capable standards for preforming, injection, cure, demold, trim, drill and inspection in automated cells.
• Define DFMA sign-off criteria for design gates and on-time fit to production lines.
• Set and track DFMA metrics like cycle time, scrap rate and cost.
