Job summary

Advanced Composite Products & Technology in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an Experienced Composite Technician IV. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on hands-on ply, layup, fabrication and assembly of composite structures while mentoring Level I-III technicians and leading projects as needed.

Responsibilities include blueprint interpretation, mold prep, laminations (pre-preg and wet lay lay-up), vacuum bagging, trimming, and supporting engineers and customer engineers.

Qualifications

• Security clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering blueprints and work instructions.
• Mold surface preparation and maintenance.
• Lamination of pre-preg and wet lay-up composite materials.
• Lead teams or projects and mentor other composite technicians.
• Assist engineers and customer engineers in design and production.
