Advanced Composite Products & Technology Inc. in Santa Ana is seeking an experienced Composite Technician III to join our aerospace lamination team.

This senior role focuses on complex fabrication and bonded assembly for aerospace structures, mentoring Technician I and II, and serving as the senior technical authority on the shop floor. You will read drawings, follow process specs, operate autoclaves and curing equipment, perform precision fitting, and ensure compliance with AS9100 quality

Qualificações

• 5–7 years of experience in aerospace composite fabrication, lay-up, and bonded assembly.
• Prior experience providing direction, training, or mentorship to less experienced technicians.
• Experience reading and interpreting aerospace drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing specifications.
• Experience with Gerber or comparable automated ply cutting systems and with laser ply projection preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, customer drawings, 3D models, and material specifications.
• Perform advanced composite fabrication and assembly operations, including lay-up, bonding, trimming, drilling, routing, sanding, and finishing of complex components.
• Install aerospace hardware and perform precision fitting to meet close tolerance requirements.
• Operate autoclaves, ovens, and other curing equipment and verify cure setup against process specifications.
• Lead first article and qualification builds with required documentation and process verification.
• Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to Level I and II technicians on the shop floor.
