Job summary

All American Racers Inc is seeking a hands-on Composite Technician IV to perform a wide range of composite plying, layup, fabrication, and assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment. The role includes mentoring Level I–III technicians and leading teams or special projects while supporting design and production with engineers.

Qualifications

• Engineering blueprint interpretation.
• Read and interpret work instructions and work orders.
• Mold surface preparation and maintenance.
• Composites material kitting.
• Perform lamination of pre-preg and wet lay-up composite materials.
• Assemble molds to yield conforming composite structures.
• Perform vacuum bagging operations of large composite structures.
• Complete trimming operations, yielding close tolerances, using fixtures and various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions and work orders.

• Assemble molds to yield conforming composite structures.
• Perform vacuum bagging operations of large composite structures.
• Complete trimming operations, yielding close tolerances, using fixtures and various hand tools.
• Performs composite lamination using VRTM & RTM techniques.
• Performs composite lamination using wet layup techniques.
• Assist Engineers in the design and production of carbon and fiberglass molds.
• Provide support to internal engineers and customer engineers.
