Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company in Jessup, MD seeks a Senior Staff Engineer – Components to qualify engineered components for use in new products and reduce supplier risk. You will lead DFMEAs, develop component reliability plans, review test data, and write technical reports while guiding product engineers on appropriate component use.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years with Master’s or 8 years with Bachelor’s in engineering.
Strong analytical, math, and writing skills.
Ability to lead qualification projects and work with cross-functional teams.
Experience with reliability testing and lab collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead component development/qualification projects for new products.
Conduct DFMEAs and reliability evaluation planning for components.
Review test data, interpret results, and write technical reports.
Provide guidelines on component applications to product teams.
Collaborate with suppliers, internal labs, and external testing labs.
