Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company seeks a Senior Engineer – Global Components to lead development, qualification, and maintenance of components across product lines. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and manage supplier relationships with the global supply chain.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of components, design for manufacturing, reliability, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, quality, production, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with Master’s degree, or 8 years with Bachelor.
• Strong analytical, logic reasoning, and math skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to details.

Responsibilities

• On time & on spec delivery of components development/qualification projects to support new products, product improvements, supplier risk reduction and cost out.
• Lead components DFMEAs and develop component’s reliability evaluation plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal labs and 3rd party labs to develop qualification and reliability test plans.
• Review test data, interpret results, and write technical reports on components study work.
• Provide guidelines to product engineers on appropriate application of components on products.
• Generate components/materials specifications and requirements.
