Job summary

Ascend Bank in Wallingford, CT seeks a Senior Compliance Officer to lead the Compliance Management System and enterprise compliance risk program. You will partner with executives to assess, monitor, and mitigate risks while aligning with the ERM framework.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, risk management, law, or related field.
• Experience: minimum seven years in bank regulatory compliance and related risk disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state banking regulations and consumer compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bank's CMS and enterprise compliance risk management program.
• Integrate compliance risk management with the ERM framework and policy governance.
• Provide independent oversight, credible challenge, and regulator-facing guidance.
• Promote a culture of compliance across all business lines.
