Centene Corporation is seeking a compliance professional to assist in maintaining the company’s Compliance Program. You will provide regulatory interpretation, perform compliance reporting, lead special projects, and develop and implement auditing and monitoring strategies across the organization.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years in compliance/privacy/regulatory affairs, with HIPAA knowledge and project-management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related legal field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of compliance privacy and/or regulatory affairs experience.
• Experience in project management with working knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations.
• Preferred advanced degree (JD/LLM) in law or related field.

Responsabilités

• Respond to external information requests for regulatory filings.
• Manage compliance reporting and respond to state/federal inquiries.
• Lead ethics and compliance projects or implementations.
• Synthesize regulatory requirements and create policy statements.
• Assist in annual code of conduct attestation and remediation.
• Communicate regulatory requirements to internal and external clients.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve compliance issues.
• Maintain regulatory documentation for corporate standards.
• Develop and conduct compliance training programs.
• Perform periodic audits, risk assessments, and monitoring activities.
• Assist health plans with regulatory relations and policy issues.
• Support interim health plan compliance officer responsibilities.
• Direct and coordinate implementing Compliance Committee policy.
• Serve as a company-wide resource on policies, contracts, communications, and quality improvements.
