Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Compliance professional to assist in maintaining the company’s Compliance Program, guide special projects, interpret regulations, and support audits and monitoring strategies. The role supports health plans by interfacing with regulatory agencies and maintaining policy documentation.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 1+ years of compliance experience, and knowledge of HIPAA and state rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; Master’s or JD preferred may be considered in lieu of experience.
• 1+ years of related compliance, privacy and/or regulatory affairs experience.
• Working knowledge of laws and regulations in compliance, notably HIPAA and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to external information requests for regulatory filings.
• Respond to inquiries from state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Monitor pending legislation and regulations affecting Centene services.
• Maintain databases and reference materials related to regulatory issues and compliance.
• Communicate state and federal requirements to internal and external clients.
• Assist in development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
