BankSouth Mortgage Company, LLC is hiring a Senior Compliance Manager to oversee the Compliance Management System across deposit and branch operations. You will lead monitoring, testing, regulatory change efforts, policy maintenance, and support audits.

The role also covers BSA/AML functions and training, with focus on integration initiatives during mergers and acquisitions. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in banking compliance, with at least 2 years in retail/deposit banking, and hold or pursue

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in banking or related field.
• 5+ years of compliance experience with at least 2 years in retail/deposit banking; OR 5 years in retail/deposit banking with 2+ years in compliance.
• Compliance certifications (CRC, CCBCO) preferred.

This position is responsible for conducting and/or overseeing compliance monitoring, coordinating regulatory change efforts, and serving as the subject matter expert for compliance-related matters. The Compliance Manager also plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing compliance practices related to deposit and branch operations and overall regulatory readiness. The role supports committee operations, audit preparation, policy maintenance, and ensures systems and procedures are compliant and updated to reflect regulatory expectations.
