Job summary

BankSouth is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver a quality-driven customer service experience in a community banking environment. You will assist customers with new accounts, enroll them in online banking, e-statements, and mobile deposits, and provide all required disclosures and documentation.

• Familiar with banking software and operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with new account applications and input data into the core processing system.
• Assist customers with enrollment for electronic services (online banking, e-statements, mobile deposit).
• Provide disclosures and new account documentation to customers; resolve errors, disputes and fraud inquiries.
• Ask relationship-building questions before recommending products; suggest appropriate products at the point of sale and for follow-up.
• Operate teller drawer and perform teller functions as schedules dictate.
• Perform other duties as required.
