Job summary

GLS is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to manage the organization’s Compliance Programs and provide guidance on compliance risks. You will work with business partners to identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory and operational risks in a rapidly growing environment.

The role requires building and maintaining relationships with executives, legal counsel, and regulators, and developing scalable compliance functions across the company. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a compliance role preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the financial industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on compliance matters and impacts of compliance risks.
• Identify and manage operational and compliance risk in a rapid-growth company.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, legal counsel, and regulators to provide compliance guidelines.
• Develop staffing plans and budgets for the Compliance team.
• Coordinate and participate in cross-functional teams for compliance guidance.
• Lead and coach assigned staff to improve training and performance.
• Maintain Corporate Compliance Policies for Consumer Finance rules and regulations.
