Job summary

Columbia Residential Properties, LLC is seeking a Lead Compliance Specialist in Atlanta to oversee compliance operations for affordable housing across a portfolio of properties. The role emphasizes regulatory adherence, leadership, and collaboration with the compliance team and community staff.

The position supports move-ins, annual reporting, audits, and coordination with state reporting portals. A college degree and HCCP certification are preferred, with up to 25% travel and a hybrid work

Qualifications

• College degree preferred with affordable housing compliance experience or at least 3 years in the affordable housing industry in a compliance or management capacity.
• HCCP or other Tax Credit Certification required.
• Knowledge of affordable housing regulations & programs (IRS, HUD, Local, State).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of properties.
• Ensure move-in, recertification, and internal transfer documentation meets all program requirements.
• Conduct monthly site visits for file reviews and compliance follow-up.
• Conduct internal audits for certifications completed each month.
• Support and assist with Lease-ups, Acquisition Rehabs, Audit preparations, etc.
