Job summary

Trustmark Bank’s Compliance Audit team provides independent assessment of risk management and regulatory adherence across consumer compliance topics related to deposits and lending products.

The Senior Auditor of Compliance assists audit management with executing compliance audits, performing tests, identifying risks, drafting findings, and delivering reporting deliverables with clear, well-supported conclusions.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of audit experience or equivalent compliance risk work.
• Knowledge of bank products, functions, and regulatory concepts.
• Ability to advise leaders using business acumen.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong audit skills across planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Perform regulatory research on relevant compliance risks.
• Participate in risk intelligence activities for emerging risks and regulatory changes.
• Document findings for management and draft audit reports.
• Communicate clearly with lines of business, orally and in writing.
• Support design and execution of audit approaches per regulatory guidance.
