Job summary

Truist Audit Manager leads high-risk, complex internal audits, providing independent assurance and advisory services. You will coach junior team members and deliver well-supported reports aligning with Truist's risk appetite framework.

The role requires strong risk management, analytical and communication skills, with duties spanning planning, scoping, data analytics, and stakeholder collaboration across the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training/experience.
• Six to eight years of banking, auditing or relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of banking and financial services.
• Understanding of risk management and process concepts.
• Strong analytical, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Strong written, verbal and negotiating skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Lead high risk and complex audit engagements with test planning and resourcing.
• Develop audit reports aligned with risk appetite framework and present to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor junior team members through training and feedback.
• Provide advisory services during new systems/process changes.
• Ensure timely, quality delivery across multiple tasks and projects.
