Job summary

Truist Senior Internal Auditor is a key member of the internal audit team, assisting in risk-based assurance activities and documenting results. You will interpret findings, identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements, occasionally leading smaller audit segments or reviews.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 4–6 years in banking or auditing, with strong audit methods knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field, or equivalent.
• 4–6 years banking, auditing or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of audit principles, practices and risk assessment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and audit software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead client interviews and document results with narratives, flowcharts and process maps.
• Analyze process design and control effectiveness.
• Design and execute testing strategy with data analytics.
• Identify control weaknesses and root causes.
• Mentor junior team members and present issues to management.
