Embassy Suites Denver is seeking a Complex Sales Manager to represent two hotels in the Denver market. You will proactively solicit and manage complex accounts and events, aiming to maximize revenue and achieve hotel goals.

The role requires 3+ years in sales, strong negotiation and relationship skills, and knowledge of group and business travel sales. This on-site position offers a competitive salary and on-property collaboration with the Director of Sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive sales experience, including knowledge of full-service hotel operations, group rooms and catering experience.
• Aggressive negotiating and closing skills to convert opportunities into revenue.
• Strong customer development and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of event technology products and services; contract management basics.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solicits and primarily handles complex accounts or markets and complex events with greater revenue potential for two hotels.
• Actively upsells each business opportunity to maximize revenue.
• Achieves personal and team related revenue goals for two hotels.
• Creates sales contracts as required.
• Forecasts group sleeping rooms and revenue for groups and participates after turnover.
