Liberty Mutual’s Construction Complex team seeks a Senior Technical Claims Specialist to manage high-exposure CGL and construction liability matters end-to-end. You will set strategy, direct investigations, and coordinate outside counsel for litigated or high-exposure losses ($500K+).

Qualifications

• Experience handling complex, litigated CGL and/or construction liability claims at high exposure levels.
• Strong knowledge of CGL and construction coverages and related policy issues.
• Proven litigation management: selecting defense counsel, directing discovery, mediation/trial prep.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex, litigated construction-related losses from assignment through resolution.
• Lead coverage interpretation and application for construction claim issues.
• Direct litigation strategy, manage discovery and depositions, and plan settlements.
• Coordinate with Home-Office Legal, defense counsel, experts, and technical consultants.
• Select and supervise outside counsel with budgets and billing guidelines.
