Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance seeks a Senior Complex Construction Claims Specialist to lead high-exposure CGL and Construction Liability matters (litigated, $500K+). You own matters end-to-end, guide coverage strategy, coordinate experts, and manage outside counsel for Construction Industry accounts.

This role is primarily remote with a light two-days-in-office per month for eligible candidates, offering autonomy, strategic impact, and opportunities to mentor on complex claims initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience handling complex, litigated CGL/construction claims.
• Ability to direct coverage analysis and litigation strategy.
• Proven track record managing outside counsel and experts.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, litigated construction-related losses from assignment to resolution.
• Lead coverage interpretation and assess liability in construction claims.
• Direct litigation strategy, discovery, and mediation preparation.
• Coordinate internal teams and external counsel to a timely resolution.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements.
