Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join our Construction Liability team. This role handles moderate to high-exposure third-party bodily injury and general liability property damage claims for owners, developers, and contractors nationwide, with a focus on complex investigations and settlements.

You will mentor colleagues, oversee claim lifecycles from investigation to resolution, and collaborate with counsel.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience managing third-party bodily injury and property damage litigated claims.
• Experience directing defense counsel, evaluating exposure, and negotiating settlements.
• Licensing in some states.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to work with customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of multi-party construction bodily injury and property damage liability claims across jurisdictions.
• Drive proactive claim outcomes; own full lifecycle from coverage analysis to negotiation.
• Mentor team, provide guidance on coverage, liability, and investigation strategy.
• Participate in suit committees, roundtables, arbitrations, mediations, field investigations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
