Job summary

AT&T in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Compensation Strategy Consultant to design, evaluate, and enhance compensation programs at the enterprise level. You will partner with senior leaders to develop executive-ready analyses, narratives, and strategic recommendations, influencing decisions across HR, Finance, and Legal.

You will lead market analyses, benchmark assessments, and the design of annual and long-term incentive plans, while contributing to governance and total rewards strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive compensation experience in a corporate compensation function, consulting environment, or combination of both.
• Experience conducting compensation analyses, market pricing, benchmarking, and incentive program evaluations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across multiple business functions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with compensation leadership to design, evaluate, and enhance executive and broad-based compensation programs.
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and competitive assessments to support compensation strategy and decision-making.
• Support the design and administration of annual and long-term incentive programs.
• Develop analyses and recommendations related to executive compensation, retention programs, perquisites, and benefits.
• Contribute to annual compensation planning activities, including salary review and incentive planning processes.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, white papers, business cases, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Analyze compensation trends, workforce data, and external market information to identify opportunities and emerging practices.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to ensure compensation programs align with business objectives and governance requirements.
• Translate complex compensation analyses into clear, compelling narratives that drive informed decisions.
• Support compensation governance, program communications, and strategic initiatives that enhance AT&T's total rewards offerings.
