Job summary
BrainWorks HR Search is seeking a Compensation Manager in the Dallas area to own and advance the compensation function. You will build frameworks and programs to bring structure to pay practices and align with organizational goals.
The role emphasizes developing ranges, job leveling, and incentive programs, with advanced analytics, including Excel and Power BI, to support decisions and drive equity across the company.
Qualifications
- Experience in compensation with job leveling, grading, and salary structures.
- Experience with commission, incentive, and/or bonus plans preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Power BI experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and improve processes.
Responsibilities
- Build compensation infrastructure, including job leveling, grading structures, salary bands, and role mapping.
- Develop compensation frameworks and processes to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Manage annual compensation processes, including salary reviews and bonus planning.
- Evaluate and enhance commission, incentive, and bonus programs.
- Conduct compensation analysis and benchmarking to support competitive and equitable pay practices.
- Partner with leadership on compensation recommendations and ad-hoc requests.
- Review job descriptions and assess exempt/non-exempt classifications.
- Analyze compensation data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
