Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to lead salary planning, equity, and variable pay for non-official staff. You will partner with HR business partners and management to analyze jobs, determine market value and salary ranges, and guide compensation policy.

You will collaborate with the business intelligence team to create reports, dashboards, and data-driven recommendations while maintaining budgets and our market pricing tool.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years academic/professional experience performing related duties and analysis using tools such as MS Excel, R, or Tableau.
  • Skilled using technology tools and digital platforms including market pricing tools and Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms.
  • Skilled using Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Excel, experience required.
  • Above average math skills and experience using tools to conduct data analysis.
  • Excellent time management skills including multi-tasking, managing deadlines and providing project oversight.
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening skills to effectively communicate with staff at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships, provide effective consultation, and negotiate win-win solutions.
  • Ability to counsel and assist management and/or employees as well as interpretation of Bank policy and procedures.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems and recommend solutions which are in the best interest of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain trust and integrity when working with confidential situations and information.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Knowledge in identifying prospective compensation strategies and market trends using market research.
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation regulations and Department of Labor regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis and evaluation of jobs to determine market value and salary ranges.
  • Lead annual salary planning, equity and variable pay processes for non-official staff.
  • Lead annual salary structure analysis and maintain market pricing tool.
  • Provide salary administration guidance and compensation policy guidance.
  • Collaborate with BI team to create reports, dashboards and data-driven recommendations.
  • Maintain budgets for salary planning, equity and variable pay processes.
