Northern Trust in Chicago, IL is seeking an Enterprise Chief Operating Office (ECOO) Compensation Senior Consultant to advise business leaders on market-informed pay decisions and governance-aligned solutions. You will lead analyses of base pay, incentives, and total rewards, partnering with HR partners to translate compensation philosophy into practical outcomes.

The role requires 7+ years in compensation, strong consulting, Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders

Formación

7+ years of progressive compensation experience, preferably in financial services.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or related field.
Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills; experience translating data into recommendations.

Responsabilidades

Advise leaders on compensation decisions balancing market data, internal equity and governance.
Develop recommendations for internal moves, retention, off-cycle adjustments and pay decisions.
Translate pay strategies into practical base pay, short-term incentives, and other programs.
Conduct job evaluations, market pricing analyses, and present pay recommendations.
Facilitate compensation discussions and build alignment across HR and business leaders.
Monitor external practices and regulatory changes; propose appropriate responses.
Prepare executive-ready analyses and materials with clear findings and options.
Lead and support the annual compensation cycle, including data validation and communications.
