Northern Trust is seeking a Compensation Senior Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor to ECOO leaders and HR partners, driving market-informed, equitable pay decisions across the organization. You will translate compensation philosophy into practical solutions, supporting talent strategies and governance.

This role leads the global annual compensation cycle, analyzes base pay and incentives, and collaborates with executives to ensure pay programs align with business goals while maintaining

Competenze

• 7+ years of progressive compensation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, HR, or related field.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience in financial services preferred.

Mansioni

• Serve as trusted compensation advisor for ECOO units, guiding HR Partners and leaders on complex compensation matters.
• Develop recommendations for internal moves, retention, off-cycle adjustments, reorganizations and other pay decisions.
• Translate business needs into practical compensation solutions across base pay, incentives, and recognition programs.
• Conduct and present job evaluations, leveling, market-pricing analyses and pay recommendations.
• Lead and support the global annual compensation cycle, including planning and communications.
• Monitor external practices, market developments, and regulatory changes; assess implications and responses.
