We are seeking a dynamic Senior Specialist to lead and enhance our client's comprehensive health and welfare programs across the US and Canada. This role is pivotal in driving the success of the HR team and supporting the growth of nationwide organization. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full spectrum of health and welfare plans, including medical, dental, life, disability, wellness, and retirement programs.
- Design and implement strategic initiatives to enhance benefits offerings, focusing on process optimization and market competitiveness.
- Leverage data analytics to evaluate the efficacy of compensation and benefits strategies, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership, detailing trends, costs, and the effectiveness of total rewards programs.
- Manage relationships with health and welfare brokers to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Coordinate all aspects of the open enrollment process, ensuring seamless communication and accurate enrollments.
- Handle new hire and termination processes, verifying payroll deductions and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including ACA reporting and year-end filings.
- Administer and audit retirement plans, including 401k, and facilitate retirement plan committee meetings.
- Develop and manage salary structures and job architecture, conducting market analyses to ensure competitive positioning.
- Lead the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and salary adjustments.
- Collaborate with executive leaders to craft a company-wide compensation philosophy.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Foster strong relationships across departments, acting as a trusted HR advisor for managers and employees.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 8 years in compensation and benefits administration.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
- Expertise in MS Office and experience with HRIS systems, including maintenance and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong project management capabilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and business partnering skills, with the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, bringing a positive and energetic approach to customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences within the organization.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
- We offer a competitive salary ranging from $103K to $144K, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
