Job summary

Hope Gas is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to design, implement and maintain compensation programs aligned with strategic objectives in West Virginia. You will ensure competitive, equitable pay practices and manage annual incentives and long-term plans.

Responsibilities include market pricing, job evaluations, salary structure development, and collaboration with finance and HR teams. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive compensation experience.
• CCP, PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate jobs using market pricing and internal equity tools to define salary ranges and job classifications.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to keep compensation competitive.
• Develop and administer annual compensation processes, including merit increases and incentive programs.
• Provide guidance and training on compensation philosophy, policies, and best practices.
• Maintain salary structures, job families, and leveling frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
