Job summary

Merck & Co. in Bridgewater, MA is seeking an experienced compensation analyst to independently lead market benchmarking, pricing, and job evaluation efforts.

You will partner with the Total Rewards team and HR to provide data‑driven salary analysis and recommendations, support annual planning cycles, and maintain compensation tools. This role requires 5+ years of analytical work with at least 3 years in compensation, familiarity with HR systems, and CCP interest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of quantitative/analytical work; at least 3 years in compensation (pricing, evaluation, surveys, salary structures).
• Familiarity with HR systems and analytical tools; CCP preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead market pricing, job evaluations, FLSA reviews, and internal equity analyses independently.
• Oversee annual compensation survey participation, data validation, and benchmarking integration.
• Develop dashboards/visualizations to surface insights and support compensation decisions.
• Support compensation initiatives such as job architecture and salary structure maintenance.
• Partner with HR to provide guidance on compensation matters and analytics.
