Job summary

OxyChem in Dallas seeks a Compensation Analytics Lead to design, administer, and analyze compensation programs, including salary and incentive plans, market pricing, and metrics. You will provide advanced analytical support and lead HR initiatives to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.

You will develop dashboards, drive process improvements, and partner with HR Business Partners to answer leadership questions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in Compensation, HR, or related analytics roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, lookups, data cleaning, and macros.
• Experience creating dashboards and working with compensation analytics tools.
• Strong experience with compensation modules in Workday.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting data to diverse audiences.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and analysis of monthly and ad hoc compensation metrics and dashboards to support leadership decisions.
• Improves compensation workflows, metrics, and reporting methodologies for efficiency and data accuracy.
• Assesses salary and incentive recommendations for internal equity and external market competitiveness.
• Supports HR initiatives ensuring alignment of pay practices with business goals and market conditions.
• Performs complex, ad hoc compensation analyses including pay equity and workforce planning analyses.
• Partners with HR Business Partners and management to address compensation questions and guide decisions.
• Creates and maintains job profiles and documentation to align with structure and market data.
• Participates in annual compensation benchmarking and market pricing activities.
