Job summary

MidAmerican Energy Company is seeking a Compensation Analyst/Sr Compensation Analyst to design, analyze, and govern our pay programs in alignment with market data and regulatory requirements. The role supports Berkshire Hathaway Energy affiliates by developing compensation structures, conducting job evaluations, pricing jobs, and producing analytics to drive equitable and competitive pay decisions.

Collaboration with HR, Finance, and IT is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or HR, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in compensation, HR, or finance with focus on compensation.
• 5+ years for Sr Compensation Analyst role in related field.
• Advanced knowledge of compensation programs and tech.
• Experience with HCM systems for compensation analytics.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage job architecture and salary structure framework with market data alignment.
• Oversee annual compensation review process with cross-functional partners.
• Support executive compensation programs and market assessments.
• Conduct FLSA assessments and compliance reviews.
• Assist with confidential compensation initiatives and governance.
• Additional responsibilities as requested.
