Position Overview:
The Entrust Compensation team is responsible for all elements of compensation including strategy and design of new programs and administration of current programs.The Senior Compensation Analyst will work with the team to contribute to the organization's ability to attract, retain and motivate the talent needed for Entrust’s current and future success.
In this role you will provide consultation, technical and analytical support and participate in the design, implementation, and administration of Entrust’s global compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and administer base pay strategies, policies and programs. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting job evaluations, market pricing, managing the annual salary surveys, annual salary planning and salary structure review. Provide recommendations and support to the design process as needed.
Develop strong partnerships with the HR Business Partners and their organizational clients, Talent Acquisition and business leaders to provide consultation and expertise related to pay decisions and practices, job leveling and evaluation, peer assessment, market benchmarking and competitive analysis.
Participate in and take the lead on various compensation related projects including merger and acquisition activity, department reorganizations and location specific compensation legislation compliance.
Assist in developing programs, policies and related business process documentation.
Conduct ongoing benchmarking and survey analysis to evaluate the competitiveness of pay ranges, incentive program design and other reward programs. Analyze market data, market trends and maintain knowledge of compensation best practices, industry trends and compensation related legislation.
Deliver and facilitate training and education programs to HR Business Partners and managers about compensation-related topics and initiatives.
Administer short-term and long-term incentive programs including communication, eligibility and calculation of award payouts.
Participate in the annual sales incentive design process; Provide modeling and data analysis of sales incentive proposed plan changes and assist with the documentation and rollout of compensation plans and new processes tied to the measurement of these plans.
Prepare and analyze data for required gender pay reporting and related disclosures.
Conduct research, analyze data and identify trends and continually review current practices and policies to ensure that best practices are being utilized.
Partner with HRIS to ensure accurate and complete HRIS system setup, maintenance and upgrade release testing as well as successful compensation project implementations.
Proactively identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field and 7+ years’ progressive compensation and/or HR experience or Master's Degree in HRIR or MBA and 5+ years progressive compensation and/or HR experience
Proficiency in Workday HRIS database management, Advanced Compensation and report capability
Advanced proficiency in Excel and proven capability to collect, analyze, interpret, model and summarize data to support decision making
Expert analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems using logic-based approach
Project management skills
Demonstrated time management skills; ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of the technical and compliance/regulatory aspects of compensation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to quickly summarize data findings and effectively communicate results to management
Ability to work independently as well as participate in and lead in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Global compensation experience
Sales incentive compensation plan design experience
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification
Strong business acumen
