Job summary

Gold Adam, Inc. is expanding its U.S. presence and seeks a seasoned Company Controller for the Dallas area. You will oversee the entire accounting function, ensure GAAP compliance, and guide a growing team to support rapid scale and strategic planning.

Reporting to the CFO, you will manage policy setting, complex technical accounting matters, and audits, while partnering on budgeting and cash management to drive corporate growth.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• 10-15+ years of progressive accounting experience including 3-5 years in Controller role.
• Big 4 or public accounting background preferred.
• Strong U.S. GAAP expertise including complex inventory accounting.
• Proven track record leading audits and managing external auditors and advisors.
• Experience building, leading, and developing accounting teams.
• Experience designing internal controls and accounting policies.
• Strong ERP and reporting process experience.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including direct supervision of the Financial Controller.
• Ensure financial statements are prepared in full compliance with U.S. GAAP and serve as the final reviewer of all financial reporting.
• Set and maintain accounting policies, and resolve complex technical accounting issues.
• Own inventory accounting methodology, including valuation of precious metals, reserves, and reconciliation processes.
• Design, implement, and monitor a robust internal control framework appropriate to the company’s size and risk profile.
• Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local tax and statutory requirements, working closely with external tax advisors.
• Lead all external audits and financial reviews, and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial service providers.
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial planning.
