Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks a seasoned CommVault Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain backup and recovery solutions for a large federal government environment. You will manage complex, multi-tiered data protection across WAN, storage, and VM infrastructures.

The role requires strong knowledge of CommVault, Windows/Linux servers, SQL, and DISA STIGs. CGS offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package for this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing CommVault data protection solutions for large-scale environments.
• Ability to plan backup/recovery strategies including VM-based backups and redundancies.
• Troubleshoot complex backup issues across network, server, and hardware layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, implement, test, and support backup/recovery solutions for federal government environments.
• Provide analytics, capacity planning and reporting within the backup management system.
• Apply security patches and DISA STIGs to backup infrastructure.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure timely backup, restore, and data replication requests.
