Job summary

Coeur Rochester seeks a Community Relations Superintendent to lead a comprehensive engagement strategy for a Pershing County, Nevada surface silver operation. You will build a high‑performing team and foster transparent relationships with local stakeholders, including regulators, tribal entities, NGOs, and residents.

Lead public meetings, design community investment programs, and coordinate educational outreach to support local workforce development and social license to operate.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or public affairs.
• Experience in mining or heavy industry preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic engagement plans.
• Experience leading and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long‑term community relations strategy aligned with site goals and permitting.
• Identify risks and opportunities, and create mitigation or engagement plans.
• Establish KPIs to measure engagement effectiveness and report results.
• Lead community engagement with regulators, tribal entities, NGOs, and local government.
• Manage community investment programs, sponsorships, donations, and partnerships.
• Coordinate educational outreach, site tours, workforce development initiatives, and local hiring.
