Job summary

Coeur Rochester is seeking a Community Relations Superintendent to lead a comprehensive community engagement program for its Pershing County, Nevada operation. You will build a high-performing team, engage regulators, Tribal entities, and local communities, and drive strategic outreach and sponsorship initiatives.

The role emphasizes effective communications, issue resolution, and alignment with environmental stewardship goals. Site-based in Nevada with opportunities for regional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• 7+ years in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or public affairs.
• Mining, natural resources, or heavy industry experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience developing and executing strategic engagement plans.
• Leadership experience developing and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and execute a comprehensive community relations strategy.
• Build and manage a high-performing community relations team.
• Engage with regulators, tribal entities, NGOs, and local governments.
• Lead public meetings and outreach programs.
• Coordinate sponsorships, donations, and workforce development initiatives.
• Report on engagement activities and issue resolutions.
