Job summary

Borealis is seeking a Community Relations Superintendent to lead a comprehensive community relations program for a surface silver mining operation in Nevada. You will build and manage a high-performing team and foster transparent engagement with local communities, tribal nations, regulators, and officials.

The role drives social license to operate, coordinates with Environmental, Legal, and Operations teams to align with environmental stewardship and permitting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field.
• 7+ years in community relations or public affairs.
• Experience in mining or heavy industry preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long-term community relations strategy aligned with site goals and permits.
• Lead a community relations team and set performance expectations.
• Engage with tribal governments, regulators, and local communities.
• Oversee communications materials and reporting.
• Lead public meetings and community events.
