Job summary

Firefly Supported Living & Employment Services in Springfield, MO, seeks an Assistant Director to lead and grow essential community-based programs that empower individuals to live more independently and engage in their communities.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with partners, drive program development, and support outcomes for clients while maintaining quality, compliance, and confidentiality standards across programs like ISL, Day Program, and Supported Living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in Developmental Disabilities may substitute year-for-year for degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
• Proficient computer skills including databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, growth, and oversight of Day Program and related services.
• Mentor Program Coordinators and staff and assist Regional Director with operations.
• Build relationships with community partners, funding sources, and agencies.
• Represent organization with clients, families, staff, and stakeholders.
