Job summary

Centerstone is seeking an Assistant Director in Springfield, Missouri to lead multiple community-based programs and empower individuals to live more independently. You will mentor coordinators, manage operations, and collaborate with community partners to improve service delivery.

The role focuses on supervision, quality oversight, and staff development, while ensuring compliance, documentation, and positive outcomes for clients and families served by Day Program and related services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Relevant experience in developmental services may substitute for a degree.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience supervising staff and building teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, growth, and oversight of multiple community programs.
• Mentor and support Program Coordinators and staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and agencies.
• Ensure staff training, certifications, and compliance are completed.
• Oversee records, billing, and HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in leadership meetings and organizational planning.
