Job summary

American Community Management Inc is seeking an experienced Community Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of high-rise condominiums and mixed-use communities in the Metro DC area.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in community association management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED; associates degree preferred.
• Two years of customer service and portfolio management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in word processing, math, and computer skills.
• CMCA preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Delivering superior service to ACM Communities.
• Engaging team members in process improvements and addressing community needs.
• Address homeowner escalations (insurance claims, emergencies) referred from customer service.
• Conduct site visits and assist with routine tasks.
• Review outstanding work orders/violations and maintain vendor relationships.
• Provide guidance on governing documents and contracts.
• Maintain insurance database and approve invoices with attention to detail.
• Prepare board packets and assist with management reports and action items.
• Participate in community meetings and provide proactive guidance to the Board.
• Prepare professional management/operations reports and annual plans.
