Job summary

American Community Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Community Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-rise condominiums and mixed-use residential communities in the Metro DC area.

The role emphasizes delivering exceptional service, managing homeowner escalations, and coordinating contract and maintenance activities. You will work with ACM-provided systems, conduct site visits, prepare board packets, and assist in management reporting.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in community association management.
• Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma/GED required, associates degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CMCA preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Two years of customer service and administration/portfolio management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to ACM Communities.
• Engage team members in process improvements and address community needs.
• Assist with homeowner escalations and insurance claims.
• Conduct site visits and support team leads with routine tasks.
• Review outstanding work orders and violations for portfolio.
• Guide homeowners on governing documents as needed.
• Review contracts and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain insurance database and approve invoices accurately.
• Prepare board packets for meetings and assist with management reports.
• Attend community association meetings and follow up on action items.
