Job summary

BH Management seeks a Community Manager III in Houston to oversee day-to-day property operations, including financial, administrative, sales, marketing, and maintenance activities. You will ensure BH standards, deliver excellent customer service, and lead a team to optimize occupancy and profitability.

The role requires a minimum of 5+ years in property management, strong communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to travel up to 20% of the time and maintain compliance with licensing

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of property management experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel ~20% of the time.
  • Advanced MS Office Word/Excel and computer skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior leadership experience required.
  • State leasing license or ability to obtain per law requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly inspects the property to ensure compliance with safety and BH standards.
  • Develops and implements marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Reviews budgets, schedules, and financial reports; monitors expenses and payables.
  • Develops resident retention strategies and responds promptly to service issues.
  • Manages maintenance requests, vendor coordination, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Hires, trains, and mentors property staff; conducts performance evaluations and provides corrective action as needed.
