Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee a housing community on-site. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, finances, and risk management under regional supervision.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to safety and fair housing guidelines, and a focus on resident satisfaction. Key duties include budgeting, monitoring deposits and rent, coordinating maintenance, and implementing marketing and retention initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of housing community operations including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Supervise on-site staff, ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor rent collections, deposits, and vendor invoices for timely processing.
• Create and execute yearly marketing plans and resident retention programs to improve occupancy and satisfaction.
• Lead emergency response for the property and ensure timely service request completion and quality upkeep of the property.
