Opportunity: Senior Community Manager/General Manager - Palo Alto, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, on-site living required

We are seeking an experienced Community Manager for our 628-unit community, Stanford West. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth in a convenient location.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop a competent team.
• Manage daily operations, review rent recommendations, and identify income opportunities.
• Collect rents, enforce legal delinquent rent procedures, ensure resident insurance compliance, and adhere to screening and retention policies.
• Complete and review monthly performance reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor market conditions, create marketing plans, and oversee contractor work ensuring quality and compliance.
• Implement safety procedures, conduct safety meetings, and maintain MSDS information.
• Identify repairs or capital projects, ensure curb appeal, and address risk management issues.
• Follow company policies, handbooks, and governing documents.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as a Community Manager, with lease-up experience preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong sales skills; Yardi experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze business data, write reports, and perform basic math calculations.
• Proficiency with property operations software, Outlook, Internet, Excel, and Word.

Compensation

Salary range: $100,000 - $110,000 annually. Benefits include a 401(k) match, rental incentives, bonuses, discounts, health benefits, and vacation accrual. Full-time employees working 30-40 hours/week are eligible.
