Job Description:
Airbus is seeking a General Procurement Project Manager (GPPM) to join the Procurement Team in Mobile, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for the support of Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters for all North America regions, from Canada to Alabama. You will also be responsible for the conduct of a smooth and sustainable project management, maintain solid relationships with the stakeholders and lead the Procurement Workstream of projects which will drive regional and worldwide coordination between the General Procurement (GP) organization and other departments.

Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your Challenges:
Project management (70%)
In the frame of the FAL Ramp- Up, Mobile Ecosystem, Transformation and support, the GPPM will interface and coordinate all buyers involved in the project, located in Europe /North America. Coordinate several projects and manage priority conflicts.
Full management accountability across a number of projects, including project interdependencies through the full lifecycle of a Program/Product.
Propose, develop and apply program/product strategy towards customers.
Ensure that all program/projects targets (product quality & delivery schedule, financial objectives, including P&L) are met while verifying the company commitments towards the customers.
Design and implement reporting for progress of GP projects.
○ Ensure the accuracy and consistency of the reporting
○ Provide intelligence on the data to GP management team and identify potential opportunities/risks
Is responsible for the performance of GP for all projects.
Procurement Process, tools & best practice driver (30%)
Support the Program & Transformation (P&T) Manager to drive compliance to Airbus GP and related processes through strong communication with internal customers.
Support the P&T Manager to drive change management in the frame of M&A activities.
Support the P&T Manager resolving GP process blockages and recommend solutions to operational and contractual problems.
Organize and run compliance and best practices awareness to procurement/internal customer communities
Support resolution of procurement tools blockages (i.e. SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, etc)
Your Boarding Pass: (Required)
Possess a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration (MS preferred) or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Possess a PMP certification
Have seven (7) + years’ experience in PM or a closely related function
Clear understanding and knowledge of Procurement processes.
Knowledge of Risk Management & Business Case Analysis & TCO Approach.
Advanced knowledge of Qlik Sense, Tableau.
Expert user of Google Suite Tools.
Advanced knowledge of enterprise systems, including SAP, Coupa and associated transactional systems
20% Domestic and International travel ability
Authorized to Work in the US
