Job summary

Metropolitan Family Services seeks a part-time Senior Resident Service Coordinator to serve the North Center team and Senior Satellite Centers. The role focuses on outreach, assessment, and coordinating social/educational activities for seniors 55+.

You will ensure engagement, track progress, and collaborate with partners to provide referrals and support. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, 1+ year in a related field, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related experience with senior populations.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in social work or related field.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach and engagement with clients 55+ and connect to resources.
• Assess basic needs, quality of life indicators, and service needs.
• Coordinate recreational, social and educational activities for seniors.
• Maintain ongoing engagement, reassessment and goal planning.
• Conduct well-being checks and handle crises when needed.
• Manage documentation and reporting within program requirements.
• Plan and develop senior community events with supervisor approval.
• Attend monthly coordination and community meetings.
