Job summary

City of Lakewood (WA) is seeking a qualified contract and program administrator to develop, monitor and evaluate community and economic development projects across housing, public works, and environmental initiatives.

Under the Housing Division, you will ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws, prepare contracts and loan documents, supervise funding recipients, and provide technical assistance to staff and the public.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business/public administration or related field and two years of contract management experience.
• Experience with lending, loan documentation, or public works is desirable.
• Experience ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and evaluate development projects across multiple areas.
• Ensure compliance with CDBG/HOME regulations and wage requirements.
• Prepare bid documents, contracts, grant agreements and loan documents.
