Job summary

Under the Parks & Recreation Director, manage budgets, fundraising, outreach, safety, and staff, volunteers, and vendors to deliver high‑quality programs.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in recreation or related field with two years’ experience; valid WA driver’s license; CPR/First Aid within six months.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing recreation programs.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Attendance and reliable scheduling to meet program needs.
• Budgeting, fundraising, and monitoring expenditures for programs.
• Community outreach and promotion of programs via multiple channels.
• Diversity, equity, and inclusion in program design and delivery.
• Provide clerical support, respond to inquiries, and maintain records.
• Coordinate city‑sponsored programs and events, including venues, vendors, and permits.
• Ensure safety protocols and staff/volunteer leadership.
